This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of the mobile and web-based application "FAMEO" ("Platform") and related services operated by TRENDLANCE INNOVATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
It describes how the Platform collects, uses, stores, shares and otherwise processes personal data of individuals who register on, access or use the FAMEO mobile and web interfaces and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules framed thereunder, and to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 ("DPDPA"), including updated requirements on privacy notices, consent, retention and data principal rights.
Important: By creating an account, accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform.
Core Terms
- Corporate Affiliate – Any person or entity which directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with the Company.
- Data Principal – The individual to whom the personal data relates (e.g., an influencer using FAMEO).
- Data Fiduciary – The person who determines the purpose and means of processing personal data. For FAMEO's own user data, FAMEO acts as the Data Fiduciary.
- Data Processor – Any person who processes personal data on behalf of a Data Fiduciary (e.g., hosting, messaging or analytics vendors engaged by FAMEO).
- Personal Data – Any data about an identifiable individual that is processed digitally, including name, contact details, account identifiers, location data and online identifiers.
Non-Personal Information includes:
- Geographic location of a User
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Telecom/internet service provider details
- Browser type and device information
- Clickstream data and session duration
Sensitive Personal Data includes:
- Passwords
- Financial information (bank account, credit/debit card details)
- Physical, physiological and mental health condition
- Medical data, records and history
- Biometric information
A. Account, Identification and Contact Information
- Full name, username, internal user ID, referral ID
- Date of birth (for age verification – 18+ only)
- Email address (unique, verified) and mobile number (OTP-verified)
B. Authentication and Security Information
- Password stored in hashed form
- Security and audit logs: sign-ins, account changes, timestamps
C. Profile and Demographic Information
- Gender, city, state, pincode, bio, interests, preferred languages
- Relationship status, height, body type, education, occupation, lifestyle preferences
- Social-media presence: Instagram/YouTube usernames, profile links
D. User-Generated Content and Communications
- Profile photographs, images and videos (stories, posts)
- Chat messages and metadata (sender, receiver, timestamps)
E. Device, Technical and Log Information
- Device identifiers, FCM tokens for push notifications
- IP addresses, inferred or GPS-based location
- Notification logs: type, title, delivery status, read/unread status
F. Mobile Application Permissions
The FAMEO mobile application (built with Flutter, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store) may request the following device permissions, each collected only when necessary for the corresponding feature:
- Camera: Taking or uploading profile photos and in-app content
- Microphone: Voice messages and live voice/video chat (Elite plan)
- Photo / Storage: Selecting media from your device gallery for upload
- Location (GPS): Enabling distance-based discovery matching (you may grant approximate or precise location)
- Push Notifications: Sending match alerts, message notifications and platform updates
- Internet / Network Access: Core application functionality and API communication
You may revoke any permission at any time through your device settings. Revoking certain permissions (e.g., location) may limit associated features.
G. Payment Information
- Razorpay Order ID and Payment Reference (payment_ref) generated at the time of subscription purchase
- Transaction status, amount paid, currency (INR) and subscription duration
- Proration credits applied on plan upgrades
Important: Card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs and net banking credentials are entered directly on Razorpay's PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment interface and are never transmitted to or stored on FAMEO's servers.
H. Third-Party Sources
When permitted by law, we may collect information from third-party social networks (e.g., nicknames, follower/post counts, email, profile picture) when you use a social account to sign in.

B. Razorpay Privacy and Security
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you make a payment on the Platform, you are also subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy. The Razorpay SDK integrated into the FAMEO mobile app may collect device fingerprint and fraud-risk signals for payment authentication purposes; this data is processed by Razorpay and governed by their privacy policy.
C. Sharing of Information
Your information is primarily stored in electronic form. We may store, collect and process data in countries other than India to the extent permissible under applicable laws. We enter into agreements with third parties that include appropriate security and cooperation clauses.
D. Legal and Regulatory Disclosures
We may disclose personal data where required by law, pursuant to valid legal process, regulatory request, or to courts and governmental authorities with jurisdiction.
E. Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred to the acquiring entity subject to continued protection consistent with this Privacy Policy.
- Active accounts: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter.
- Deleted accounts: 30-day grace period, then limited records (audit logs, payment records) retained for 1–3 years for compliance.
- Chat and content: Retained for approximately one year, then archived or deleted.
- Payment records: Up to seven years as required under financial and tax laws.

We will respond to rights requests within timelines prescribed under applicable law (currently up to 90 days for grievance redressal under the DPDPA framework).
FAMEO is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We collect date of birth at registration to support age verification. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we will delete the account and associated data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

B. What You Can Do
Use a unique, strong password. Never share your password or verification codes. Sign out after each session on shared devices. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.

When you interact with our Services, we and our partners use cookies to grant access, recognize you, customize your experience, serve interest-based advertising, perform analytics, and promote trust and safety.
