What Are Cookies, Web Beacons & Similar Technologies?

When you visit or interact with our sites, services, applications, tools or messages, we or our authorized service providers may use cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies. These allow our services to store relevant information in your browser or device.

A. Cookies

Small text files placed in the memory of your browser or device when you visit a website or view a message. Types include:

B. Web Beacons

Small graphic images (also known as "pixel tags" or "clear GIFs") that may be included on our sites, services and tools, typically working in conjunction with cookies to identify users and user behaviour.

C. Similar Technologies

Technologies that store information in your browser or device utilizing local shared objects or local storage and other web application software methods. These may operate across all your browsers and may require management directly through your installed applications or device settings.

We may use the terms "cookies" or "similar technologies" interchangeably to refer to all technologies that store data in your browser or device or help us identify you.

Why We Use Cookies

Depending on your location, we may require your consent for cookies in categories 2 through 4. You can withdraw consent through your browser settings.

Your Choices

A. Browser Settings

Your browser may provide options to refuse some or all non-essential cookies. You may also remove cookies from your browser at any time. Please refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.

B. Device Identifier Settings

Your device operating system may let you opt out from having device identifiers used for interest-based advertising. Refer to the instructions provided by your mobile device's manufacturer, typically available under the "settings" function.

If your mobile device offers an uninstall process, you can stop us from collecting information through the app by uninstalling FAMEO.

C. Website Settings

You can customise which cookies may be set by adjusting your settings on our sites. Manage your cookie preferences for FAMEO by visiting our Cookie Settings page in the App.

Please note: Certain aspects and features of our Services are only available through the use of cookies. If you choose to disable cookies, your use of the Platform may be limited or not possible.

Use by Authorised Service Providers

We may work with third-party companies — commonly known as service providers — who are authorised to place third-party cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies on our sites or in our services and tools. These service providers help us provide a better, faster, and safer experience.

These service providers may use these technologies to help us deliver our own content and advertising, and to compile site metrics and analytics. We do not permit any of these service providers to collect your personal information on our sites for their own purposes.

We may use third-party advertising networks and exchanges to serve you advertisements. These third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your visit to our site and elsewhere on the Internet in order to provide you with more relevant advertising.

If you believe a listing or third-party content might be collecting personal information or using tracking technologies on one of our sites, please report it to our Grievance Officer.

Mobile Application Tracking Technologies (Flutter App)

The FAMEO mobile application is built with Flutter and runs natively on Android and iOS. Unlike web browsers, native mobile apps do not use traditional browser cookies. Instead, the following technologies are used to store data, identify your device, and deliver features:

A. Local Storage and Shared Preferences

The app uses Flutter's SharedPreferences and local storage APIs to persist session tokens, user preferences, notification settings and UI state between app launches. This data is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to third parties.

B. Device Identifiers

C. Razorpay SDK — Device Fingerprinting

The Razorpay Flutter SDK may collect device fingerprint data (such as device model, OS version, network type and IP address) for the purposes of payment fraud prevention and authentication. This data is processed exclusively by Razorpay on their PCI-DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure and is governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.

D. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

Firebase SDKs integrated in the app may collect anonymised usage statistics (screen views, feature interactions, crash reports) to help us improve app performance and stability. Firebase Analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of Firebase Analytics by enabling Limit Ad Tracking on your device or by contacting us.

E. Managing Mobile App Tracking

Because the FAMEO mobile app does not use browser cookies, standard browser cookie opt-out tools do not apply to the mobile app. Use the device-level controls described above to manage mobile tracking preferences.
