When you visit or interact with our sites, services, applications, tools or messages, we or our authorized service providers may use cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies. These allow our services to store relevant information in your browser or device.
A. Cookies
Small text files placed in the memory of your browser or device when you visit a website or view a message. Types include:
- Session cookies – Expire at the end of your browser session. Remain on your device only for the duration of the session.
- Persistent cookies – Stored in between browser sessions, allowing us to remember your preferences or actions across multiple visits.
- First-party cookies – Set by the FAMEO site you are visiting.
- Third-party cookies – Set by third-party sites separate from the site you are visiting.
B. Web Beacons
Small graphic images (also known as "pixel tags" or "clear GIFs") that may be included on our sites, services and tools, typically working in conjunction with cookies to identify users and user behaviour.
C. Similar Technologies
Technologies that store information in your browser or device utilizing local shared objects or local storage and other web application software methods. These may operate across all your browsers and may require management directly through your installed applications or device settings.
We may use the terms "cookies" or "similar technologies" interchangeably to refer to all technologies that store data in your browser or device or help us identify you.
- Technical Usage Data: Response time for pages/screens, download errors, date and time of access, IP address, navigation paths, features accessed, statistics on how content is loaded or viewed, pages visited prior to accessing the Platform.
- Device Information: Language settings, IP address, browser ID, device ID, cookie or identifier preferences, time zone, operating system, platform, screen resolution and similar device configuration data.
- Location Information: Approximate location from IP-based geolocation (latitude and longitude), and precise location through GPS or similar technologies where you have expressly permitted such access through your device settings.

We may work with third-party companies — commonly known as service providers — who are authorised to place third-party cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies on our sites or in our services and tools. These service providers help us provide a better, faster, and safer experience.
These service providers may use these technologies to help us deliver our own content and advertising, and to compile site metrics and analytics. We do not permit any of these service providers to collect your personal information on our sites for their own purposes.
We may use third-party advertising networks and exchanges to serve you advertisements. These third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your visit to our site and elsewhere on the Internet in order to provide you with more relevant advertising.
If you believe a listing or third-party content might be collecting personal information or using tracking technologies on one of our sites, please report it to our Grievance Officer.
The FAMEO mobile application is built with Flutter and runs natively on Android and iOS. Unlike web browsers, native mobile apps do not use traditional browser cookies. Instead, the following technologies are used to store data, identify your device, and deliver features:
A. Local Storage and Shared Preferences
The app uses Flutter's SharedPreferences and local storage APIs to persist session tokens, user preferences, notification settings and UI state between app launches. This data is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to third parties.
B. Device Identifiers
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Token: A unique device token generated by Firebase and stored on our servers to deliver push notifications. This token may change when you reinstall the app or clear app data.
- Device ID / Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA: These identifiers may be used by integrated SDKs (Firebase, Razorpay) for analytics and fraud prevention. You may limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking).
C. Razorpay SDK — Device Fingerprinting
The Razorpay Flutter SDK may collect device fingerprint data (such as device model, OS version, network type and IP address) for the purposes of payment fraud prevention and authentication. This data is processed exclusively by Razorpay on their PCI-DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure and is governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
D. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics
Firebase SDKs integrated in the app may collect anonymised usage statistics (screen views, feature interactions, crash reports) to help us improve app performance and stability. Firebase Analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of Firebase Analytics by enabling Limit Ad Tracking on your device or by contacting us.
E. Managing Mobile App Tracking
- Uninstall: Uninstalling the FAMEO app removes all locally stored data from your device. Your account data on our servers is unaffected; to delete account data, use Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Limit Ad Tracking (iOS): Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
- Opt-out of Personalised Ads (Android): Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
- Revoke Permissions: Device permissions (location, camera, notifications) can be revoked individually via your device's app settings at any time.
Because the FAMEO mobile app does not use browser cookies, standard browser cookie opt-out tools do not apply to the mobile app. Use the device-level controls described above to manage mobile tracking preferences.
